"This double buggy makes it easy to stay on the move with two children and is also a great choice for planet-conscious purchasers. The fabric is made from 100 per cent recycled PET (a plastic called polyethylene terephthalate) and 25 per cent of its plastic components are sourced from ocean plastics.
The Bumbleride Indie twin is another great buggy for all terrains with its all wheel suspension and easy handling. It’s car seat compatible and can be used with both bassinets (sold separately) and seats. At 76cm it’s one of the wider side-by-side buggies on the list which might make it more suitable for families who don’t rely on public transport or who are restricted for space at home. It has a good-sized storage basket which also contains a pocket for an air pump for the tyres (included).
Praise for the Bumbleride Indie Twin also includes the good sized canopies and peekaboo windows on the top. The seats are suitable for newborns if you choose to buy their infant inserts instead of the bassinets.
We also think the Bumbleride Indie is a great choice for its environmental credentials and comfort."
There’s a decent basket underneath the seats and a zip pocket in the back of the seats. All the fabrics are durable, and 100 per cent recycled too – which gets a big eco-friendly tick from us. The canopies are some of the most generous we tried, and they also flick out at the bottom, perfect for nap times. However, this is not a pram with a compact fold, and we found this function a bit of a workout. But if you’re not going to be folding it too regularly, it’s a fantastic pram for all terrains."

]]>These nifty strollers are designed to tackle rougher routes and be easy to navigate through busy city streets. So what makes an all-terrain stroller, well, all-terrain?
These kinds of buggies have lightweight chassis which means it doesn’t take much heaving to get over lumps in the path. The prams also have excellent suspension for a smooth ride and often have air-filled tyres which offer a more comfortable ride.
Many, but not all, have three wheels – two larger back tyres and one smaller front tyre. The three-wheel design makes the strollers easier to push one-handed and can zip around corners with more ease.
They’re also good for tackling bumpy ground. We recommend looking for a lockable front wheel – locking it over very rough terrain stops the pram from getting jammed, but being able to unlock it for busy streets is invaluable.
We took to the streets, fields and country paths over the course of six weeks to find the best all-terrain stroller."
"Best: Eco-friendly stroller
Rating: 9/10
There’s something about this stroller we found quite pragmatic – although the chassis feels a bit less sleek than some others we tried. But that’s not to say we didn’t like it, because we really did. We absolutely loved that the pram has been made with sustainability in mind. Some 25 per cent of the plastic components are made from ocean plastic, while all the fabrics are 100 per cent recycled PET. And while we’re waxing lyrical about the materials used, we loved the natural cork handle: it felt nice to hold and we could grip it well. Plus, natural cork is supposed to be antimicrobial, sustainable and renewable – three big ticks given the times we live in.
But on to the test ride. We found the large back tyres helped navigate bumps, while the smaller front wheels made light work of tight corners. On rougher terrain, it’s easy to switch a bolt on the front tyres to lock them. The air-filled tyres all have individual suspension which gave a nice smooth ride across pavements and fields too.
This was one of the only all-terrains we tried that had the option for the seat to be world or parent facing. When the seat unit is world facing, you can fold the stroller with the seat unit attached. The seat feels well-padded and it fully reclines. We really liked that the calf support flipped up for extra comfort during naps. The Bumbleride era has some nice touches too – a magnetic peekaboo hood for silently checking your slumbering child, a pocket in the back for valuables and a removable sleeve on the bumper bar, which was handy for throwing in the wash."

Your baby isn’t the only one that needs to be strong enough to go running in the first year after birth. You need the greenlight from your doc at 6 weeks, although, it’s not wise to run out of the GP’s office at full tilt, either."
The best thing about this buggy is its Speed3 Steering, which means the front wheel can be locked, swivel 360° or be partially locked, enabling you to run, jog or walk feeling fully in control –great news for beginner runners when you might run-walk more than continuously jog. There are clear step-by-step instructions for set up – it took our tester about 15 minutes - and there are plenty of handlebar height positions available.
Another big pro is the amount of on-board storage. Not only does it have a basket in the base (where you can handily store the supplied tyre pump) and a zip pocket for phones at handlebar height, it also has drink pockets for both user and passenger, which little hands can easily access.
The five-point padded safety harness kept our passenger secure, but we did find it took a little bit of effort to figure out, so you can’t do it in a hurry right away. The seat can recline in every position possible too, but the upright option was a bit tricky to manage single-handedly.
Our tester felt strong and confident when running, gliding over all of our test terrains due to the excellent three-wheel suspension. We found the larger length of the wrist strap useful too, as it allowed for a more comfortable running style. The brake is located between the rear wheels and was effective but would be better positioned on the handlebar for comfort and ease. It doesn’t feature a handbrake when stationary either. It’s easy to check on your little one though, thanks to the magnetic viewing window on the canopy.
We love that the fabric is made out of 100% recycled polyester, using 28 water bottles per buggy. It’s also quick to fold down and store, easily fitting into a car boot."

"Lately, a mix of limited childcare, closed gyms and cancelled exercise classes has forced many parents to try the unthinkable – exercising with their children. Other than PE with Joe Wicks, getting out and about for a brisk walk or even a jog with your little one in tow is a great way to exercise in the fresh air.
Smart and sturdy, the Bumbleride Indie means business. For £449.99 you receive the pushchair, ready to roll. The seat does recline flat but there is also the option to buy a carrycot for your newborn, and adding car seat adaptors means you can use it as a travel system too. The ability to use a carrycot or infant carrier with a 3-wheel all-terrain stroller is a huge benefit and is a feature that is not always available on off-roading pushchairs.
The Bumbleride Indie is a fabulous option for parents wanting to explore the great outdoors and go on dog walks off the beaten track. The comfortable seat can be adapted into a parent-facing pram by purchasing the carrycot and it can even become a travel system with the addition of the car seat adaptors. The bumper bar could be more user-friendly and there is no included raincover for our wonderful British weather but the large basket, sturdy wheels and workmanlike persona of the Bumbleride Indie really delivered for our active outdoor lifestyle." -Read More.

You might live a suburban lifestyle but enjoy off-road ramblings in your spare time and the Bumbleride Era can handle both of these situations perfectly. Ideal for families not wanting to have to buy separate pushchairs for different situations, the Bumbleride Era pushes over rough terrain like an Out‘n'About Nipper 360 but performs in the city like a Baby Jogger Versa.
The really neat ‘flat' nature of the fold means it can easily be transported in car boots, and the fact that there is no need to purchase any additional accessories such as carrycots and raincovers is nice and easy on the pockets of parents too.
From wheels to handlebar, the quality build of the Bumbleride Era means you are buying a trusty workhorse that will serve you and your family right through your children's early years.
We have really enjoyed using the Bumbleride Era and perhaps the most notable point to take away from this review is that the Era fitted into our family like a glove. Not once did we have to alter our plans or routines to accommodate features of the pushchair and all the while it served us well, no matter what the situation.
+ Easy to use, roomy seat, great wheels, large basket, real workhorse, smart appearance
- Occasionally difficult to bump up kerbs when seat lying flat and parent-facing"

"The main reason we love the fold is that it folded so flat that we could pop it at the bottom of the boot space and it felt like it took up very little room overall. There was no element of bulk to the folded pushchair at all."
"Suitable for twins or a newborn and toddler, the Bumbleride Indie Twin is an easy-to-use and versatile double.
There really is a lot to love about this hardworking double pushchair. As soon as we unboxed the Indie Twin we noticed the width. At just 75cm wide it will fit through any standard-width doorway, which is always a relief to hear for parents on the hunt for a practical double.
The practical appeal did not stop here as we also fell in love with the adjustable handlebar (an all-encompassing 67cm to 115cm) and the air-filled, go-anywhere wheels, which proved their worth when pushing over field and rough terrain and gave a lovely light push over smoother surfaces too.
The side-by-side seats of the double pushchair are nicely padded with a simple-to-use but quality harness system. We appreciated the fact that a strong and cosy carrycot could be added to the frame of the Indie Twin to offer a parent-facing option for newborn babies and make the pushchair suitable for newborn twins or a newborn and a toddler, as well as two toddlers.
The hood gave superb coverage and the adjustable calf rest came in very handy to rest smaller children's legs on during nap times. We also noted that if the calf rest was popped all the way up at a right angle, it provided a more enclosed space for a newborn to lie in without the addition of a carrycot.
We also must mention the shopping basket - it's huge! There is more than enough storage underneath the Indie Twin to suit any family's needs, as well as the storage pouches on the back of the pushchair and the insides of the seats.
The Bumbleride Indie Twin has been a pleasure to use in many ways. As a parent, finding a double stroller to suit the needs of all the family can be tough. The Indie twin ticked all the boxes, allowing us to use a parent-facing carrycot for a newborn as well as having comfortable pushchair seats for toddlers. The tough exterior of the Indie Twin was able to withstand rugged walks over all terrains and the slimline 75cm-wide frame allowed us to shop in the city and fit through doorways easily too.
Even though it wasn't always the easiest to lift and store, and the strap recline could be fiddly on occasions, for practicality, functionality and versatility, we can definitely recommend the Bumbleride Indie Twin."

The Bumbleride Speed is a real sportsman's pram. All of the features, although not lavish or luxurious, work really well. The large seat, as well as the fact it can be used with a carrycot, means you will get true value for money and length of use out of the Speed.
We found this pushchair to be a real performer and, although it has modest looks, the environmentally friendly fabrics are a winner."
